Win scholarship

Undergraduate students have an opportunity to share their vision for a better India and in the process win a fully paid summer programme at Cambridge University. The India Habitat Centre, in association with National Geographic Channel, invites students to "think again" about the world they live in and participate in the fourth annual `Award for Habitat Young Visionary 2007'.

This award involves the submission of a 1,500-word essay in English or Hindi on specified topics to start with. Based on the essay, 15 participants will be short-listed for the semi-finals and will be required to elaborate on and defend their vision before a panel of judges. Out of these, five participants will be chosen for the finale to be held on January 30, 2007.

The last date for the submission of the entries is October 30, 2006. For more details, log on to www.indiahabitat.org or www. Nationalgeographic.co.in
