A range of consumer products featuring Galli Galli Sim Sim characters

After the launch of Galli Galli Sim Sim, the popular pre-school television series, earlier this year, Turner International plans to extend its magic by giving children a chance to touch, feel and own the characters outside their television sets. Cartoon Network Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising division of the network, has launched consumer products featuring Galli Galli Sim Sim characters such as Elmo, Biscuit Badshah, Bharat and Ernie, across four categories. These muppets have been an integral part of the globally acclaimed Sesame Street series and have managed to transcend geographical boundaries and gain acceptance as the new stars in the world of kids' entertainment.
The first phase of the Galli Galli Sim Sim merchandising programme will commence with the launch of an entire range of apparel, publishing, plush and home furnishing for which CNE has partnered with Liliput, Euro Kids, Scholastic, Mattel and Portico. Priced between Rs. 70 and Rs. 1,399 across categories, the products will be available in leading multi-brand retail chains such as Lifestyle, Shoppers' Stop, Pantaloons and Landmark. The year 2007 will witness the launch of Galli Galli Sim Sim branded merchandise across several other categories.
Aimed at 2-8 year olds, the Galli Galli Sim Sim range of apparel merchandise will be manufactured and distributed by Liliput and will be available in 60 Liliput stores across India and in multi-brand outlets.
