Shocks and scares

Every year, Hollywood comes out with a new concept and a different milieu to make a disaster film. This year, as the title suggests, it is "Snakes on a Plane" starring Samuel L. Jackson. It is a straightforward story aimed at shocking viewers. On board a flight across the Pacific Ocean, an assassin bent on killing a passenger, who is a witness in protective custody, lets loose a crateful of deadly snakes! Hollywood makes such movies mainly for the Asian market where they do good business. Remember that even a flop like "Anaconda" was an all-time super hit in Tamil Nadu. In all probability, "Snakes on a Plane" and its dubbed version in Tamil are going to mint money.
