What's new?

Vijay TV revamped its programme from Monday. In the daily afternoon band, it has introduced new shows such as "Shopping Sundari", "Ladies Club", "Point to Point" and "Dum Dum Dum".

Besides, the channel is all set to launch three new daily serials "Amaran", "Kana Kanum Kalangal" and "Kanden Seethaiyai".

In the night, there is going to be "Jillunu Oru Jodi", a light-hearted chat show on relationships.

Says Ravinath Menon, General Manager, Vijay TV: "After launching format shows such as "Kalakkapovathu Yaaru", "Super Singer" and "Jodi No.1", we are happy to offer a line-up that will make primetime viewing on weekdays more exciting. I'm sure these shows will appeal to viewers of all age groups with their unique content."

Sachin, the star guest

NDTV's popular "Walk the Talk" (Monday, 10 p.m.) by Shekhar Gupta features Sachin Tendulkar as the star guest in a two-part conversation.

Sachin talks about his early interest in cricket, how his father named him after his favourite music director Sachin Dev Burman and other interesting tidbits.

Shekhar has chosen Mumbai's famous Sivaji Park, the nursery ground of many famous cricketers, as the backdrop for the programme.
