Makeover in minutes

Look gorgeous in just ten minutes

QUICK TIPS Looking good in a jiffy

Got a party to attend and you are running short of time?

Here are a few tips to look gorgeous in less than 10 minutes as suggested by Shoba Mohandas of beauty salon, `Live in Style'.

Clean your face with soap and water. Dab moisturiser evenly on your face.

Wait for five minutes till the skin absorbs the moisturiser. Then apply foundation. Dot it all over the face and neck especially under the eyes. Blend it nicely using your fingertips. Dark skinned people should go for darker foundation. After this apply the compact. Be sure to apply it properly under the eyes as it prevents the eye make-up from smudging.

Eye make-up

Apply matching eye shadow. The `smoky eyes' look is really in. That effect is got by applying the eye pencil on the underlid and on the outer lid too and then blending it with the `kajal' pencil. Blend from the beginning of the eye to the outer edge to create the look. Some good brands of `kajal' eye pencil for the smoky look are L'oreal, Maybelline or Revlon. Finally apply the mascara. Brush your eyelashes with the mascara brush to get the natural look. While applying blush-on take care for it not to look over done. It should blend nicely along the cheekbones.

Lipstick

Finally take care while applying the lipstick. Outline the lips with a light coloured lip liner. Then apply the lipstick inside the line, taking care to see that it does not spread. The lip liner and the lipstick should be of the same shade. Putting bindi adds to the charm of your face and you are ready to be noticed as you walk into the party.
