PICTURESQUE The Chitrakoota waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh
A compilation of articles on the tourist and heritage centres in Madhya Pradesh, Madhyapradesha: Eidu Varsha, Hattu Suttu, is being released by Sumukha Prakashana today. The author of the book is H.S. Manjunatha, a freelance journalist who writes for both Kannada and English publications.
The book contains articles on places such as Gwalior, Chitrakoot, Pachmarhi, Mandu, Orchha. Bhimeetka, Maheshwar, Bawangaja, and Shivapuri.
The book will be released by litterateur S. Ramaswamy. Writer T.S. Channesh will speak about the book. I.M. Vittala Murthy, Secretary of the Kannada and Culture Department will be present on the occasion. Anand Madalagere will render folk songs.
The function is at 6.30 p.m. at Sumukha Book House, 174E/28, II Floor, I Main Road, Vidyaranyanagar, Magadi Road, Toll Gate.
