Catch the song

Airtel has recently launched its new service called `Airtel Song Catcher' which will enable customers to `capture' a song of their choice from a distance and use it as their hello tune.

This means if you hear a song, say on television or radio, and want it as your hello tune, you will just have to dial 393, hold the phone to the speaker of the TV/radio and download the song within 30 seconds.

If that song matches the Airtel song database, then it gets transferred to your mobile phone instantly.

Huge database

Airtel claims to have the largest bank in digital music in India with 25,000 songs in 20 languages. So the possibility of your getting the song that catches your fancy is quite high!.

This new service is said to be the first of its kind in the country. To provide this service to its customers, Airtelhas teamed up with a South Korean company, SK and CC Co. Limited.

The rate for searching a song is Rs.2, and downloading costs Rs.15 per song.

Airtel has also come up with a new gaming option for kids called the `Games on Demand service'. In this scheme, for Rs.199 per month, customers can play unlimited games on the website through Bharti Airtel's broadband services with a single click.

One can choose from a variety of single player and multiplayer games, which include popular titles such as Age of Empires, Star Fury, Driv3R and Flight Simulator.
