Book release and film screening

As part of the inaugural ceremony of the Kannada Films Retrospective of the Suchitra Bengalooru International Film Festival, filmmaker Shyam Benegal will release the book Most Memorable Films of the World: From the Diaries of the Film Societies by H.N. Narahari Rao, Vice President, FFSI. The inauguration of the retrospective by Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa will be followed by the screening of the film Bettada Hoovu directed by the Late N. Lakshminarayan. Entry to the event is limited to those holding delegate passes only.
