Hat-trick
After two super hits, "Garam Masala" and "Malamaal Weekly", Priyadarshan is on the verge of scoring a hat-trick with "Bhagam Bhag", releasing this Friday. Govinda, the original comedy king of Bollywood, is making a comeback after a four-year sabbatical. Keeping him company are Priyadarshan's favourites Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta and Rajpal Yadav.
The film is about a theatrical group, owned by Paresh Rawal, which is bound for London for a performance. In the play, Akshay is the villain and Govinda, the hero. Problems crop up when the heroine fails to turn up at the airport. Says Priyadarshan: "`Bhagam Bhag' is a comedy of errors like Stanley Kramer's `It's a Mad Mad World'. Pritam's music is foot tapping." The film releases worldwide with nearly 1,000 prints and is the last of this year's biggies.
