Sunday jam

The year's first edition of Sunday Jam is kicking things off on a promising note with a performance by Canadian jazz-funk band Autorickshaw. The band, made up of vocalist Suba Sankaran, tabla player Ed Hanley, bassist Rich Brown and percussionist Debashis Sinha, has received a 2004 JUNO nomination for World Music Album of the Year for their second album Four Higher. Sunday Jam kicks off at 5 p.m. on January 7 at the Open Air Amphitheatre, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat.
