LOVE UNITES Vishal and Meera
Vishal
Meera caught my eye in the "Om Cricketaya Namah Rangoli" advertisement, telecast on Set Max during the World Cup in South Africa. At that time, my father and I were selecting the cast for a Telugu film. I contacted her and she came to Chennai for a discussion. But six months passed before work began on the film. At the muhurat in Hyderabad, Meera and I exchanged email addresses and we would chat a lot. I had fallen in love with her but was not sure whether I should tell her. For some reason, the project was called off. While Meera got busy with her work, I went away to Allahabad. One day, she called me out of the blue. She was down in the dumps as she was not getting the kind of offers she had expected. I told her things would look up. Eight months later, she rang me in the middle of the night to say she was in love with me.

When I proposed to him, he asked for time. He needed 30 minutes to make up his mind! Thirty minutes was too long a wait. I called him back in five minutes. The next day, I took an early morning flight to Chennai, spent the day with Vishal and flew back to Mumbai that evening. I told my parents I had gone there on work. I did this a few times until they realised what was going on.
