Applications invited for the Indian Young Publisher of the Year Award 2007

If you have a smart, fresh, innovative business plan that can set standards in the publishing industry, then this is for you.
The British Council India, in association with Oxford Bookstore, invites applications for the Indian Young Publisher of the Year Award 2007.
The last date is January 15. The IYPY 2007 Award is a continuation of the British Council's work in promoting creative entrepreneurship among the youth.
The winner of the Indian award will take part in an all-expenses-paid 10-day tour of the U.K. publishing industry in April 2007 and competes for the International Young Publisher of the Year Award 2007.
The international winner receives £ 7,500 and a stall at the London Book Fair 2008.
Applicants should be between 25 and 35 (as on April 18, 2007). They should work in publishing in the following areas - publishing (including e-publishing), agents, literary festivals or retailing (including e-tailing).
