Arya in Varanasi

Arya is just back after a two-month long schedule in Varanasi for director Bala's ambitious project "Naan Kadavul". Speaking about the experience of shooting in the holy town with almost 500 Tamil sadhus who were taken to the location from Chennai, Arya says, "Varanasi has become close to my heart as I spent my birthday and New Year there. After doing out and out commercial films, my role in `Naan Kadavul' is entirely different. Bala sir is one of the finest directors." Meanwhile, Arya's "Oram Po", earlier titled "Auto", is all set for release. The film, directed by newcomers Pushkar and Gayathri, has Pooja in the female lead. The audio of the film with music by G. V. Prakash was launched with a lot of fanfare.
