International Book Festival

The 2nd DC International Book Fair and Cultural Fest 2007 is underway at Marine Drive Ground.

The festival features a large number of titles on fiction, management, self help, health, lifestyle, new age medical, nursing, engineering and children's books. The cultural programmes are as follows. On Feb.3 is Theatre Day Feb. 4 is Sports Day with cricket icon Sreesanth gracing the occasion. Children's Day will have Manu Katha Parayannu and Fancy Dress. Bharat Mamooty will grace Cinema Day (Feb.6) History Day (Feb.7), Cookery Day (Feb. 8) with live cookery show by Sanjeev Kapoor, Seminar on IT (Feb.9), Poetry Day (Feb.10), Music and Book Release (Feb.11) and the festival comes to a close on Feb.12.
