FOUR FRAMES

Successful star

Jeeva has emerged as a star in his own right, after the success of "E". Releasing this week is "Pori", where he is teamed with Pooja. The film is directed by Subramaniyam Shiva who directed the Dhanush blockbuster "Thiruda Thirudi". "Pori", said to be a rollicking entertainer, is about an honest young man's fight against the real estate mafia, which has taken over his shop using false documents.

Says Jeeva: "As real estate prices are soaring everywhere, a new breed of land grabbers has taken over. They will do anything to make a fast buck. `Pori' is going to be an eye-opener, as the story revolves around a guy who fights to get back his land." Dheena's fast music, Karnas' comedy and the action scenes are some of the highlights.
