Ford trade


This past January has turned out to be Ford India's third best month ever in sales.

The company has sold 4,623 units in that month, which got listed in the third slot after the sales record of January 2006 with 5,173 units and 5,929 units in March 2006.

According to a company press note, Ford India has posted an overall growth of 87 per cent for the period between January to December last year.

Established in 1996, Ford India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. With over 1900 employees, the company's models include the Ikon, Fusion, Endeavour, Mondeo and Fiesta.
