Sand and surf

For Ajay Jadeja the best holiday spot is Goa, of course after the cricket venues.

Great getaway

Even as I talk about my favourite destination, I am chilling out on the beaches of Goa. Just two months back I was here on a short holiday. I never seem to have enough of Goa's sun-kissed beaches, warm sand, old world streets, friendly people and lip-smacking food. So, I keep coming back as often as I can, and mostly with my family.

Favourite haunt

I prefer south Goa because it's quieter. While holidaying with my family, I don't like too much noise or crowd. My wife and I just let our son build castles in the sand and love watching him make and break them. Whenever I am in Goa, I stay at the Coconut Creek. I like the ambience, the food and the picturesque location.

Touring the world

As a cricketer I have toured around the world. Though the long stay helps you get a feel of the place and its people, you are not able to explore various destinations as much time is spent on the field. I've always loved going to the Caribbean islands and<15,0m,,0>South Africa.
