Ambience: The trend of naming restaurants after an herb or vegetable seems to be catching on and the ambience of these places too is along the same lines- a dining place with the feel of a lounge bar. The low seating is comfortable and cosy, but if that's too much, the bar stools will give you a good view of the entire dining area. The private dining room can host small parties as well.
Chef speak: From the simple to the not so simple, Basil's menu is a vegetarian foodie's delight. Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. and is followed by a buffet lunch of North and South Indian food till 3 p.m. If you're really adventurous, try some of their specially created vegetarian dishes or else, stick to the traditional Indian food.
