Dancing their way to glory

Five dancers from Coimbatore win laurels

Five students of Sree Natya Niketan have bagged prizes at the All India Bharathanatya contest held recently in Hyderabad. It was conducted by the Navya Nataka Samithi under the auspices of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In the senior category, K.S. Uma of Nirmala College for Women won the second prize, while R. Santha Sakunthala of PSG College of Technology received a consolation prize. K.T. Divya Nair of Kendriya Vidyalaya got a consolation prize in the junior division. Shreya M. Kallingal of Stanes Higher Secondary School bagged the second prize and B. Akshya of GD School, a consolation prize, in the sub-junior category.
