Trips to the jungles

Kids can get to know about wildlife and Nature

As the summer holidays are fast approaching, camps and treks are being organised for children to provide a much-needed break from their academic routine.

These trips also give an opportunity to youngsters to experience our rich natural heritage and learn lessons on ecology and environment.

Aavishkaar India is organising a series of jungle and Nature camps for children aged above nine years.

From April 16 to May 16 trips to Karadimalai, Kodaikanal, Wayanad and Nagarhole will be organised. There will be different activities in each camp, for instance, trekking through the forests, van rides, boat rides, cycling, bird studies, slide shows, discussions, talks by environmentalists and quizzes.

Besides gaining knowledge about the flora and fauna, children can have loads of fun.
