Repulsive

Lavish weddings are repugnant, repulsive and retrograde. They revive the feudalistic values and customs, denigrating the whole institution of marriage to an exhibition of pomp. They send wrong signals. The rich and elite should stop this exhibition of the arrogance of affluence.
