SITTING PRETTY Tanushree Dutta

Experiment is the buzzword for Bollywood heroines these days. The latest on the bandwagon is Tanushree Dutta, who has two films lined up this month. First is “Good Boy Bad Boy,” a romantic comedy and “Raqeeb”, where she is pla ying the negative lead. “In ‘Raqeeb’ I am essaying three different shades opposite three actors.” With Jimmy Shergill, Rahul Khanna and Sharman Joshi opposite her, Tanu says this time she has ample opportunities to show her skills.

After winning the Miss India crown, Tanushree played small roles in films like “Chocolate”, “36 China Town” and “Bhagam Bhag”. “But whatever I did in these films got noticed. I was there for just one song in “Bhagam Bhag” but I believe this is the only thing that people remember of the film.

The “Pyar Ka Signal” number has also won her the leading role in Priyadarshan’s next film, “Dhol.”

“My aim is to never repeat myself. I get bored very easily with monotony, be it clothes or hair style.”

But before all this she is waiting for Friday when “Good Boy Bad Boy”, will hit the screens. “It’s a comedy where I play a college going girl.”
