For your dream job

Having trouble choosing a career? Want to be a bartender, DJ or a hair stylist and your mom’s not too happy about that? Well, watch MTV’s career-based reality show titled ‘MTV On the Job.’

Premiering today (May 19) at 7 p.m., it has VJ Nikhil playing the host. Adman Bharat Dabholkar tests the mettle of the young contestants every week playing the judge.

‘MTV on the Job’ is about dream jobs and nightmare internships. It puts you on the job MTV ishtyle, to take a crack at your dream job and win yourself an internship in the career of your dreams. The show will be judged by a panel of three judges, consisting of a veteran from the chosen career of the week, a young turk from the chosen career and Bharat Dabholkar.

The careers under the spotlight for ‘On the Job’ include radio, photography, DJing, bartending, styling, advertising, choreography, film making, product designing, aviation, fashion designing, hospitality (chef) and animation.

Nikhil says, “I started my career at a radio station and on stage, while I studied to be an architect. But I always knew music was my calling. MTV On the Job gives you a dekko at the hard work behind bagging your dream job.”

A 13-week series, it showcases different tasks ranging from producing a radio show, styling a celebrity based on a given theme to DJing at an actual night club. For more information, log on to mtvindia.com
