Magical moments Jadugar Anand in Visakhapatnam.

Wish to see a 10-foot replica of the statue of Liberty disappear in slow motion on stage? Watch the characters popping in and out of the screen?

You heard it right. Jadugar Anand, Jadugar Akash and their 100-member troupe is set to take Vizag by storm with their spine chilling adventures. Coming to the metro after a gap of three years, Anand and Akash have several new items in their kitty to keep the audience glued to their seats. Jadugar Anand has been enthralling the people of Hyderabad for nearly two months now.

“We had broken all our previous records in Vizag last time. We are planning to launch our show on May 25,” said Akash, who came on a flying visit to the city. He will undertake a blindfold motorcycle ride covering the entire city.

He is also keen on demonstrating the ‘underwater escape’. “I have done it in the Tank Bund. Barring those who watched from the pedestal of the Buddha statue, scores of others who watched from the shore couldn’t feel the thrill due to the distance,” he says. The highlight of his items would be the ‘fire escape’. He would be handcuffed, chained and hung upside down and thrown into a burning haystack in full view of the public but escapes unscathed.

“It’s a very risky item and normally magicians do it only once or twice in their lifetime. I am the only magician in the world to do it seven times,” says Akash.

Remember the jumbo Lakshmi which disappeared on stage last time? It will reappear now, says Akash with a mischievous smile.

He says that this time the show would only be for about a week. So, watch out for the show.
