National Geographic Channel is presenting the Indian television premiere of the Academy Award winning film ‘Penguins, A Love Story’ on May 27 at 8 p.m.
Narrated by Amitabh Bachchan, this film follows a flock of Emperor Penguins as they embark on a journey in the pitiless ice deserts of Antarctica in search of their love.
National Geographic Channel has also created a special microsite, www.nationalgeographic. co.in/lovestory to promote the film. The microsite has interesting trivia about the film, factoids on the Emperor Penguins and their incredible journey,and an innovative contest called ‘How far have you gone for your love?’
To participate in the contest, viewers have to log on and enter the wackiest thing they have done for their soul-mates. The wackiest entry will win a romantic trip for two to France.
