Mountain magic Experience it here

It’s a feat that would make Bollywood envious. A mountain in Switzerland has been renamed as “Cox&Kings Mountain”, after the travel company.

This is the first time in the history of Switzerland that a mountain has been named after any Indian tour company. Located in the Lungern region, the mountain is close to Interlaken and Lucerne, two other places on the Indian tourists’ itinerary.

One can enjoy a cable car ride as it winds uphill, enabling a 360-degree view of Bernese Oberland. The company has also arranged a demonstration of how Swiss chocolates are moulded. There is also an animated cow stable which is targeted at children.

Lufthansa, the German Airlines frequent flyer programme Miles & More, has partnered with the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.

Now the company has come up with the “double award miles” to all members between June 1 and August 31. The organisers say this is the first tie-up that Miles & More has with an Indian hotel chain, where members can accrue miles while enjoying an unforgettable blend of typical Indian hospitality, world-class service, and modern luxury.Miles & More members can earn “500 miles per stay at any of the accommodations of the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces”.

A stay at one of the Taj Hotels for a weekend “can also be redeemed at approximately 110,000 miles”.
