LAUNCH Of Mukul Kesavan’s book of cricket tomorrow


“Men In White: A Book Of Cricket” by Mukul Kesavan, will be launched at 6.30 p.m., on June 22, at Landmark, Apex Plaza, Nungambakkam. At the launch, a panel discussion will be held on “Living Cricket: The Indian Fan & #8211; Passionate or Obsessive?”. V. Ramnarayan, former cricketer and well-known cricket writer, Badri Seshadri, publisher and co-founder, Cricinfo, and the author will participate.

Kesavan, who teaches history at Jamia Millia Islamia, also writes fiction when he can. His works include a novel “Looking Through Glass” and a political tract, “Secular Common Sense.” “Men In White,” published by Penguin Books India, describes the experience of living with cricket in a country where the game occupies more mind space than anything else. The author also touches upon his personal experiences and the influence of technology on decision-making .
