For students

Thomas Cook has launched U Special, an offer for students who are travelling overseas for higher studies.

The company says the product provides air tickets, foreign exchange products and travel insurance. Once the student makes a purchase of any of the three products from the company they will earn reward points and these can be redeemed against their next purchase of the same product or other products. The points earned makes the student eligible for a special price on the next purchase with a cap on the minimum value of forex purchase or a discount on ticket or insurance or holidays. There is also a lucky draw where winners get prizes such as Apple Mac books, camcorders, digital cameras and Playstations.

During the initial phase Thomas Cook will target 10,000 students primarily visiting the U.K., the U.S. and Australia. The company also plans to collaborate and partner with educational counsellors / GMAT / GRE centres
