When in Goa, the land of gorgeous beaches, I am lost. Lost in my own world. That’s how I like to be on the days I don’t need to get up looking at the clock. I must have been 16 when I first fell for Goa’s charm. And I’m still under its spell! More than the sun, the sand and the seafood, it’s the Goan warmth that puts visitors at ease. I generally spend the day on the beaches, and party all night.

I feel quite the same about Kohtao, a small tropical island off the southern coast of Thailand. Three years ago, when I first landed on Kohtao’s pristine palm-fringed beaches, I was swept off by their beauty. It’s great fun to be in Kohtao, a famous destination for scuba divers.

Those not fond of diving can try snorkelling. You could even swim or kayak along the lovely coastline. If you are the laidback type, enjoy sunbathing on the beaches.

Imagine dancing next to a middle aged man in Spiderman costume on top of a table at a beach shack in Ibiza, an island in Spain, known for its wild summer parties!
