Dance, Dance, Dance

Indian television, thanks to the influence of popular cinema, now has programmes that focus on song and dance.

Jaya TV has now come out with “Dance Machi Dance,” (Wednesday, 9.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.) anchored by popular choreographer Ramji. Two teams will participate in an episode that will include group dance where the focus will be on co-ordination, a round for style and elegance and an adaptune round to judge how well they adapt themselves to different styles of dancing as the music changes. Jaya TV has created a new entertainment slot on week days between 9.30 and 10.30 p.m.
