Voice your Views - Accident-prone roads in city

Road expansion

Since Madurai is an ancient city, the roads are very narrow. But this has not stopped to the growth in vehicle population. As a result, practically every road, bridge and junction in the city has become accident-prone. To top it, vehicle drivers and users show little respect for traffic rules. This leads to avoidable accidents and loss of innocent lives. The need is to widen the roads, free them of encroachments and provide speed breakers and traffic constables at important areas.
