Going Potter
HBO is airing “Harry Potter Extravaganza” every Friday at 9 p.m. as the HBO Friday Blockbusters for July. The movies stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
The first of the series, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” will air on July 13. The movie revolves around Harry Potter, who on his eleventh birthday receives a letter to become a wizard from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” is on July 20. Harry Potter’s summer is not going well with the Dursleys getting in the way.
A house-elf, Dobby appears and warns Harry not to return to Hogwarts for his life will be in great danger. On July 27 it is “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”.
It sees Harry and his best friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley meet with the news that vicious killer, Sirius Black has escaped from the wizards’ prison at Azkaban.
