Dr. Venu says, “‘Dream Season’ offers an on-line shopping mart by creating a microsite linked to Kerala Tourism’s website. We also launched a well-designed ad campaign through print, radio and the Internet. This encouraged visits to this microsite so that the customer could browse products and packages on offer and take their pick. There are more than 150 packages on offer by the private sector as part of the campaign. The effectiveness of the campaign can be seen from the fact that the microsite has received more than 15,000 unique visitors and hotels are reporting brisk bookings.”
