Funtakshari for kids on POGO, starting tomorrow
|
POGO launches an exclusive kids only ‘funtakshari’, “Aao Khele Antakshri Leke POGO Ka Naam!” Kids can participate by tuning in to POGO on Sundays starting from tomorrow (July 15) at 10.00 a.m. Winners get a chance to be an RJ
on Radio One for a day and feature on-air on POGO.
The championship invites kids across the country to play the musical game of ‘antakshari’ with distinctive and enjoyable rounds such as ‘Gol Maal’, ‘Bujho to Jaane’, ‘Dumb Charades’ and ‘Filmi Chakkar’.
Celebrating the spirit of the game, the contest spot will feature the antara of a song and will ask viewers to call in and sing the mukhda. The choice of cities where the on-ground rounds of ‘POGO Funtakshari’ is to be played depends on the number of entries received from a particular city!
POGO Funtakshari is about recognising children’s passion for music and singing and offers them a platform to showcase their talent.
Phase II of the championships will reach out to schools across the top four cities, chosen on the basis of the entries received, inviting them to participate in ‘POGO Funtakshari’. All aspiring participants will be made to go through a written test evaluating their knowledge of music, passing the test they will be cleared to participate in the city elimination rounds. Each of the four city Grand Finales will have 100 teams competing against each other, of which one senior and one junior team will get a chance to live their dream of being on air on POGO and an RJ for a day.
