Come winter and the city would be loaded with warm clothes. Knowing that wise shoppers plan ahead, the brand Bodyguard has already made a beginning with its winter line of clothes. Its coats in the men’s range are made of washed suede material. Most of them have a lot of detailing in metal pieces and patchwork. “Suede is a coated fabric and has a rough raw look. It does get crinkled and is durable,” says Sachit Talreja, from Bodyguard. Bodyguard’ ;s short jackets made from exclusive fabric come in the price range of Rs.1800 to 2000 while women’s overcoats are priced between Rs.2200 and 2400.

Another brand Wake-Up has sports and gym wear. Wake-Up is a three-year-old associate firm of Bodyguard. While its tops and jackets range from Rs.950 to 1050, the lowers cost Rs.500.

Little Bugs has colourful jackets for children up to 12 years. They have interesting designs with Formula One motifs, and the prices start Rs.800. This time they have used a pigment blotch garment which has pragmatic finish as Anupam Verma from Little Bugs Clothing Company shares.

An exhibition of these garments manufactured in Ludhiana was held recently in the Capital. These would be available in all the leading stores, including Globus, Pyramid, Rituwear, Paul Garments, Chunmun, Bindals from October onwards.
