Guru on TV

The big news is Bollywood’s biggest hit of the year Mani Ratnam’s “Guru”, featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, will premiere on Filmy, the Hindi movie channel of Sahara TV, on July 28, 8 p.m. Filmy had procured the t elevision rights by paying an astronomical amount to Madras Talkies, the film’s producers. With the competition among the Hindi channels getting hotter, channels such as Filmy have even purchased the Hindi dubbed versions of Tamil superstar Rajnikant’s 1990’s films after all the hype about “Sivaji”!
