Studio Saks presents an exhibition featuring the works of nine designers

From chic slip dresses and tradition-inspired kurtas to trendy totes and stone-embellished jewellery, you can get them all at Studio Saks’ ongoing exhibition featuring the works of nine designers.
Designer labels such as Aiyana, Anya Designs, Charu Parashar, Geisha Designs, Golden Karma, Kavita Bhartia, Studio Virtues and Veda Lifestyle bring to the city the latest from the world of fashion. Whether it’s colour, texture or silhouette, there’s plenty to choose from. The colours for the season include Persian blue, vermillion, mocha and emerald. As for the fabrics, the creations come in linen, silk, chiffon, georgette, lace and lycra.
Geisha Designs that showcases the works of two award-winning designers – Shalini Jaikaria and Paras Bairoliya, smacks of attitude. Their line stands out for elegance and emphasis on silhouettes. Ashish and Viral Parikh’s Studio Virtues creations focus on rich textures and hand-woven fabrics. Their distinctive “trapeze look” combines traditional inspirations with modern cuts.
Charu Parashar’s collection is about the most forgotten colour – indigo, into which she infuses romance and class. The diffusion line comprises tunics, skirts, dresses etc. Kavita Bhartia’s skirts with khadi prints make a dressy style statement.
As for the collection of accessories – jewellery, bags and footwear — they are perfect for special occasions when you want these fashion extras to do the talking!
