Another remake

Remakes of Mohanlal’s films seem to be the flavour of the month. If it was his “Kireedam” that was remade last week, this week’s big release, “Veerappu,” is also a remake of his super hit “Spadikam”. Su ndar. C is back as a full-fledged action hero in his second film “Veerappu,” directed by one of his associates Badri. Gopika plays the heroine. If “Kireedam” celebrated the bonding between a father and son, “Veerappu” is about the animosity between an academician father (Prakash Raj) and a wayward son (Sundar).The film opens big with a record number of prints.
