Scholar hunt on television



calling Students

Miditech, one of Asia’s independent production house and makers of Reality T.V shows present a new show to hunt for the top-most Indian scholars vying to study in U.K. in their new contest series called ‘Airtel Scholar Hunt, Destination U K.’

The programme will showcase aspiring 12th Grade students from different socio-economic echelons of society “to seize an opportunity to study in the top-ranked universities of U.K. This reality show taps on the growing desire of Indian youth to pursue higher education overseas, explain the makers.

The contest is conceptualised by NDTV and will soon be telecast across India on NDTV 24x7. Airtel Scholar Hunt, Destination UK, is a contest to provide Indian students a chance to study in one of the five renowned Universities in Britain — Universities of Warwick, Cardiff, Sheffield, Middlesex and Leeds. At the end of the show, five deserving students will be awarded with a scholarship worth Rs. 40 lakh.
