Over-commitment

Financial over-commitment and lack of self will to overcome disappointments is an important factor for suicide. Economic growth has fuelled consumerism in a big way. This has spawned the new culture of bank loans and credit cards which is deadly co mbination leading people into debt/death trap.

Job pressure and inconsistencies further add to the problem. Then there is this attitude of not willing to fight failures and stay afloat. Parents need to inculcate virtue of saving for a rainy day and fight out failure to younger generation.
