METRO MAIL

A reminder

‘Swiping it smart’ (September 15) was a reminder how people should wisely use a credit card like a debit card.

It is time delinquent customers were careful with their financial positions before running up a debt.

Educative

‘Are you breathing right?’ was informative and educative. A health column is to be demarcated in Metroplus to deal with subjects such as aerobics, work outs, exercises, yoga, breathing techniques and pranayama.

Interesting

Coimbatore’s own yatra’ (Sept. 17) by K. Jeshi was interesting. For those who have not seen the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu or its replica in the VOC Park, the write-up provided a precise description of it.

Awesome

After reading the Road Less Travelled column in Metroplus, I recently went to Chithiraichavadi with my family and relatives. The place was clean and awesome. We enjoyed playing in the water. We thank the Metroplus team for introducing us to such places.

Thought provoking

‘More than meets the eye’ (Sept. 13) was a thought-provoking article. As suggested, one should reject adulterated products.

In ‘Stars don’t have guts’ (Take Two, same issue) Rajat Kapoor and Kaushik Roy point out that after a few films, heroes continue to dominate and that the character they play is lost.

Unaware consumers

‘More than meets the eye’ was a useful write up.

The common man is not aware of the adulteration lurking.

I learnt that turmeric was adulterated with lead. Consumer organisations should help consumers, and PFA Act should be worked out to prevent adulteration.
