After the success of best sellers like “The 10 Rules of Success”, “Be Positive, Think Positive” and “The 10 rules of Happiness”, author Mridula Agarwal is now out with her latest work, “De-Stress YourselfR
21;, published by Full Circle. Divided into three easy parts, the book examines the reasons for stress and lays out the coping mechanisms.
While accepting that stress has always existed, Agarwal believes that the level of stress has increased. “I felt it’s a burning issue,” she asserts. Instructing through homilies, the book advises, “Never Argue”, “Take Life Easy”, “Forgive and Forget”. It is also replete with quotations. From Charles Dickens to Seneca to George Eliot to the Buddha, they all figure in the book. She believes that this is the age of self-help books. as people have become more aware. These books, she feels, are the best way to understand oneself and others. Her next work, unlike her previous ones, will be a narrative in fiction form. A three-part series, it will explore parenting in the early years, middle years and then teenage years. The book is likely to be released this coming January.
