Shifting imminent


Traffic around Meenakshi Temple is always busy and heavy. The main reason for congestion is narrow roads full to their capacity and overburdenend with shops and establishments. Tourists from all over India visit the temple. If the proposal for shifting the central vegetable market and the office of the Police Commissioner materialises, these places can be converted into modern parking places and the area around the temple can be decongested.
