Oscar-winning Director Paul Haggis (from “Crash” fame) is back with another critically-acclaimed crimes series “The Black Donnellys”. This American television drama follows four young Catholic Irish-American brothers in Hell&#
8217;s Kitchen and their involvement with organised crime.
The series stars Jonathan Tucker, Olivia Wilde, Billy Lush, Tom Guiry and Kirk Acevedo along with newcomers Michael Stahl-David and Keith Nobbs.
The series premiers tonight at 10 p.m. on Star World.
The series revolves around the Donnelly brothers — Tommy (Jonathan Tucker, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”), Jimmy (Tom Guiry, “Black Hawk Down”), Kevin (Billy Lush) and Sean (Michael Stahl-David) — growing up in a rough New York city neighbourhood, learning to survive among hardened criminals and notorious mobsters. As the siblings try to protect each other, they are forced to make desperate choices that lead to them committing a string of serious crimes.
