Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis (from ‘Crash’ fame) is back with another critically-acclaimed crime series ‘The Black Donnellys.’ This American television drama follows four young Catholic Irish-American brothers in Hell
217;s Kitchen and their involvement with organised crime.
The series premieres on Star World.
The series revolves around the Donnelly brothers — Tommy (Jonathan Tucker, ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’), Jimmy (Tom Guiry, ‘Black Hawk Down’), Kevin (Billy Lush) and Sean (Michael Stahl-David) — growing up in a rough New York city neighbourhood, learning to survive among hardened criminals and notorious mobsters.
As the siblings try to protect each other, they are forced to make desperate choices that lead to them commit a string of serious crimes.
