New flights
Singapore Airlines offers more travel options with five new flights out of India. Now there will be 55 weekly services from its eight destinations in India, including 10 weekly services from Chennai and Bangalore each.
“The new flights are a result of significant growth in passenger traffic,” said C.W. Foo, General Manager India, Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines announced special fares to select destinations. The discounts range from 67 per cent to 21 per cent on current economy fares to key locales in Malaysia, Korea, China, Japan and Australia besides Singapore and Hong Kong. Coinciding with the flight frequency increase is also the launch of its new in-flight meal option: “Popular Local Choice”, in Chennai. This meal will be available to customers of all three classes from October 28.
Singapore Airlines India customers can also avail of its e-ticket services. Furthermore, the airline has started Internet check-in facility.
The Boarding Pass Privileges (BPP) Programme is available to the Indian customers who present their pass (First, Business and Economy) within seven days of their flight. They can enjoy value-added benefits and discounts.
