Namitha has replaced Simran as the celebrity judge in "Maanada Mayilada", the dance-based reality show on Kalaignar TV. The buzz is that Namitha was paid a whopping amount to be the judge on the show. The weekend show is conceived, produced and directed by noted choreographer Kala Master and is receiving rave reviews for its innovative style of presentation. "Maanada Mayilada" marks Namitha's television debut. She shares her experience and knowledge of dance with the contestants and gives her candid opinion in faltering Tamil and this has clicked with the audiences. Says Namitha: "I have shot two episodes and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The contestants are all talented and hard working. I am happy to be a judge along with Kala Master and Brinda Master."
