WHAT WOMEN WANT

It is definitely a welcome development. For a woman, her outward appearance matters. During the treatment, you lose your hair and along with it if you lose a breast, it can be painful. I cried the day I had to shave my head. I asked my doctor if the chances of recurrence would lessen or treatment procedure shorten, if I chose mastectomy over lumpectomy. When he said it would not, I chose lumpectomy. If for a woman in her fifties, like myself, it matters, I am sure it matters to those younger. I had met a girl in her twenties who chose reconstruction surgery. She was concerned if the breast would feel the same, but she was happy that it looked the same. She looked great in a tight T-shirt, the last time I saw her.
