Worthy of respect

Of course pets are a man’s best friend. Having grown up with dogs and cats as pets, I know how one feels when a dog has gone. No human can ever show love and affection the way they do. A pet is your companion, your security guard, and most impo rtantly someone who does not judge. This space would not be enough to write about the different tales of bravery and affection of pets. All I can say is the pain that one feels when one sees small boys throwing stones at them, when they mean no harm. It’s like constantly watching Raskolnikov’s dream in Crime and Punishment: the horse being flogged on the road and everybody gaping at the scene.
