New crime busters

A new mystery series with five young detectives on Pogo from October 29

Enter a new world of intrigue and mystery with “Cambala Investigation Agency”, starting from October 29 (Mondays to Fridays, 7 p.m.) on Pogo.

It is a series centred on the exciting lives of five youngsters — Ishaan, Rohit, Suchita, Farhan and Nikki — who investigate and solve mysteries in their neighbourhood … and beyond! Living in a fictitious town called Cambala, the five children take it upon themselves to unravel mysteries, crack secret codes and bust kidnappings and robberies. The team, the Cambala Investigation Agency, uses smart thinking, quick action and cool gizmos to unravel the most complicated mysteries. Each has his/her own special talent. Ishaan, the gadget guru of the group, uses logic to solve the cases. He’s got a vivid imagination and seeing the scene of crime, he can imagine what might have happened. Sixteen-year-old Sucheta is the research and analyst of the group. She’s a complete computer geek and gets any information on anything required at the press of a key from her trusted computer. Rohit is the master of disguise and always ready to fight with the many goons they encounter. He does more on-the-field jobs. He’s stylish, loves sports and is amongst the top sportsmen in school. Farhan is the bookworm. A street-smart, know-all, resourceful, walking-talking encyclopedia, he knows every rickshaw-wala, paan-wala, kitaab-wala, and every other kind of ‘wala’ in Cambala. The youngest of the bunch, at 12, Nikki, is Ishaan’s kid sister, a karate learner and a Bruce Lee fan. She inadvertently manages to get the rest of the gang out of trouble.
